Blend No.11: 4oz. 'Stork Moon' Magical Essential Oil Spray
When our heart is heavy with sorrow and homesickness colors our way, a blend of lavender, eucalyptus and geranium grants us maternal comfort, easing our heartache – gently reassuring us that, “Everything will be okay.” The lavender in this blend is ruled by the Archangel Raphael, whose name means “God has healed”, eucalyptus by Archangel Gabriel, “God is my strength” and geranium by Archangel Hanael, “Glory or grace of God.” Together these Archangels rule the zodiac signs of Gemini, Virgo, Cancer, Taurus and Libra. Stork Moon is primarily ruled by the Archangel Gabriel, a cherubim, the second “highest-ranking angel” in the angelic hierarchy (A Dictionary of Angels, p.117). “Presid[ing] over Paradise” as ruler of the First Heaven and moon, Gabriel “is said to sit on the left-hand side of God” (p.117). Together these Archangels rule “women…the family, especially children and the mother….medicine….[and] friends” (The Kabbalah & Magic of Angels, p.180-1). The illnesses they rule include “the chest…uterus….pancreas….[and] ovaries” (p.180-1), making this a particularly potent blend for the magical healing and prevention of reproductive disorders, cancers and for the repair of childhood traumas. Among the stones synchronizing with this blend are rainbow moonstone and pearl (Gabriel), common white opal (Hanael) and rhodochrosite (Raphael), known for their abilities to heal wounds of abuse, to ameliorate reproductive dysfunction and for the remediation of long-embattled illnesses. Among their creatures are the wolf and mourning dove, great totems of security and friendship (wolf), renewed hope, peace and maternal love (mourning dove).
