When love and knowledge request audience with us in the night, jasmine, with its alluring aroma, calls angels and the spirit of the Moon to answer our deepest questions, transform our countenance at midnight, and transition us from behind a dark curtain into an encore performance in the light. Jasmine is ruled by the Archangel Gabriel, whose name means “God is my strength”. Gabriel rules the Moon, is the second highest ranked angel in the celestial hierarchy, and is often referred to as the Archangel of annunciation. Ruler of the First Heaven and a prince in five of the nine angelic orders, Gabriel rules the zodiac sign of Cancer and presides over prolonged journeys, dreaming and psychic abilities, making jasmine a puissant literal and metaphysical facilitator of internal processing.
